North Chicago, IL is a great community of 30,000 residents with a small town feel about 40 miles north of Chicago. North Chicago is the headquarters for large corporations including AbbVie and Uline.  D187 has approximately 3,300 students Pre-K – 12th grade.

Home to the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, the Lovell Federal Health Care Facility and three Navy housing villages, North Chicago is a proud military community!
