Congratulations to Ms. Cavender, who was recently recognized with the Warhawk Wonder Award! Presented by Mr. Flores, this award celebrates staff members who go above and beyond for their students and the school community.
Mr. Flores commended Ms. Cavender for her uplifting influence both inside and outside the classroom, pointing to her strong connections with students across multiple grade levels and her dedication to capturing school memories.
“I chose Ms. Cavender because she is a very popular teacher within the band. Many of my juniors, seniors, and even graduated students speak so highly of her,” said Mr. Flores. “She is positive, understanding, and always wants the best for her students. I also chose her for her amazing work on the yearbook last year. She gave students a way to cherish their memories from the 2025–2026 school year.”
