South Celebrates Earth Day!
On April, 22,2013, South Elementary students celebrated Earth Day at school by wearing green! The student council at South School, under the leadership of Ms. Sheena Adams, created a tree out of recycled plastic bags and students were able to place leaves on the tree to describe how they would help the earth. K-2nd grade students used recycled paper and traced their hands and hung them around the earth to symbolize that taking care of the earth is all of our responsibility. ” We are all in this together”
