D187 Celebrates National Substitute Appreciation Week!
September 4-8 is National Substitute Appreciation Week, a time to celebrate the hard work and commitment of our D187 substitute teachers. Substitute teachers are crucial in our schools, filling in when regular teachers are on vacation, sick, or have other obligations. Substitute teachers help students continue learning and progressing, even when their regular teacher is absent.
This year, we ask everyone to show their appreciation for substitute teachers. Here are a couple of ways you can do that:
