On Monday, April 8th, students at AJK Academy, were treated to a rare celestial event as they witnessed a partial solar eclipse. The Academy organized a special viewing session, providing students with the opportunity to experience the wonder of the universe while emphasizing safety precautions.
Under the clear skies of North Chicago, students gathered on the Academy's grounds, equipped with certified eclipse glasses. Teachers and staff were on hand to guide the students through the event, ensuring that they could observe the eclipse safely and understand the science behind it.
As the moon gradually moved away from the sun, bringing an end to the eclipse, students returned to their classrooms, buzzing with excitement and newfound knowledge. While the next solar eclipse visible in North America may be years away, the memories of this celestial spectacle will remain etched in the minds of AJK Academy students for years to come.
