Our D187 school community is excited to kick off the new school year with an Opening Day Back to School Bash! Today's presentations included welcome messages from D187's Independent Authority Chair, Mrs. Dora King, Superintendent Dr. Price, and our new Chief Operations Officer, Dr. Vincent Iturralde. The event included inspiring performances and essential information sharing.
Thank you to our recent D187 graduate students for their feedback during the live moderation panel! A big shout out to our school band and musical students for their fantastic live performances. Thanks to DJ Randle, Carlos Smith, and the D187 Staff for creating such a tremendous event!

7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Sign-in and breakfast in the gym for all staff
8:00 AM: All staff move to the auditorium
8:15 AM: Welcome and introductions by Dr. Vincent Iturralde
8:30 AM: Presentation of Colors and Pledge of Allegiance by NJROTC
8:45 AM: Student musical performances by D187 students
9:15 AM: Roll call by Nicole Johnson and Carlos Smith
9:30 AM: Recent graduation panel moderated by Mary Kenney
10:00 AM: Welcome from Board President Dora King
10:15 AM: Superintendent's welcome by Dr. John Price
